The report provides information about problems that might prevent the completion of a software upgrade, and actions you can take to remedy those problems.

Use vSphere Documentation
The vSphere documents in HTML reflect the latest vSphere update release of each major vSphere version. For example, version 7.0 contains all the updates for 7.0.x releases. VMware ESXi 6.5 is available in several editions. In this article we will show you how to install a license for ESXi after installing ESXi 6.5. In this example we use the free vSphere Hypervisor license.

Import license
Log in to the ESXi Server's host client by connecting to a web browser on https://ESXI-IP-ADRESSE/UI. Then do the following:

Click Assign license.
Enter the license key and click on Check license.
Click Assign license.
The license has been activated.
In the Host view, there is no warning that the host is in test mode.
